Baby oil will definitely help accelerate your tan; however, it is not always the safest product to use. Unless you are already extremely tan, baby oil will cause you to burn. Instead, try a Coppertone Tanning Sunscreen, which is only 4 proof.

not if your laying in the tanning bed. we used to use it to lay out in the sun and all it really did was make us greasy.

Baby oil is an old method used before we knew the value of sunscreens. Baby oil offers no protection from harmful UV sun rays and can lead to bad sunburn.

Baby oil is not a good tanning product in fact it will dry your skin out, have it too oily or just cause your skin to burn very easily and trust me, you don't want that.

While baby oil can produce a good tan, it doesn't have the ingredients in it that can protect your skin from the sun's harmful rays.
