i have had an iridescent shark in my tank for 4 years now, it has never been aggressive at all and it is big enough that no other fish will mess with it, i personally can put almost any other fish in there and they will get along fine.

While the shark is still small, it is fine with community and semi aggressive fish. However irridescent sharks grow to be 4 ft long and eats other fish when bigger.

An iridescent shark is a type of catfish. They can get huge and have been known to reach at least five feet in length. They can be raised in aquariums as juveniles, but they are aggressive toward smaller fish. Good tank mates would be large cichlids or large goldfish.

They are actually a cat fish not a shark. They can be kept in home aquariums but get very large. Some of these fish have reached up to 4 feet in the wild. I would recommend adding one to your home aquarium on account they get very large. A good substitute is a Bala Shark.
