Actually a catfish, this one is always hungry and looking for food. Shrimp pellets and a wide variety of meats and vegetables are recommended. The fish may be constipated. Don't feed for a day or two, then offer green vegetables to help with the problem. Make sure ammonia levels in water are observed.

Iridescent sharks are hard to keep. They grow to about three feet. It may be that your sharks need a bigger tank. They also do best if they are kept in a school of about five sharks. If the tank isn't large enough, they will not live to their full lifespan and they can stop eatting.

If a fish is not eating there is something wrong with the water in the tank. Check the ammonia, pH, and Nitrite levels to make sure that the environment is as stress-free as possible. If that doesn't work then look for any signs of harassment from other fish or disease.

Sometimes, with sharks, you need to change up there food. Try something different, maybe even live. Small guppies are a shark favorite.

the iridescent sharks are very nerous with slight sounds so they will not eatproperly unless they have peacefull atmosphere. provide them with omnivorous food. give them alge wafers, catfish pillets and frozen foods ,flake foods. if the tank is not having enough room that will make the shark nervous and avoid food.
