Is a DVD worth anything when you pawn it?

Answer by  therealnapster (107)

To answer this question, let me explain how pawn shops operate. Pawn shops buy and then turn around and sell items. In order to make money they offer you pennies on the dollar of what your DVD is really worth. You would be better selling it to a friend.

Depending on the pawn shop, you will only get about 50 cents to 2 dollars per dvd. A few will over as much as 15 bucks for a whole collection, but over all it is not worth pawning your dvds unless you are really tire od them and just want them gone from your house.
