Is A & D ointment effective for diaper rash?

My mother swears by it but she's old fashioned.

It is very effective for that, and also most other types of rash. It is particularly good for use on sensitive skin. The reason it has been around so long is because it works!

It is a tried and tested product and it does work. Each baby is different, though, and can react to different products and so the best plan is just to try it and see. My family swears by it because we are allergic to zinc, and which does not seem to be a problem with A & D.

Yes! It has petroleum and lanolin for protective barrier as well as cod liver oil and is a great preventative as well. It is also effective for any skin irritations, dry hands, minor bruises, cuts, chapped lips, sunburn and more. It is inexpensive and available over the counter in grocery stores.

Yes, it is excellent for diaper rash. It will help soothe your baby and make the rash heal quicker. It might be sticky, but it is worth it. Rub a small amount on each time you have to change a diaper.
