A recipe may need to be converted most often if it is from another country. For example, Europe uses the metric system and USA does not. Also if you are needing to adjust the quantity a recipe can be converted to meet your serving needs.

There are some conditions such as when we have to feed more people or we have to feed the lesser people in normal course we have to convert it.
