In I bonds vs EE bonds, which are better?

I recommend I bonds. Because the interest is based on inflation, it is usually a higher rate of return than EE, but you certainly want to check rates on both.

Both are good for different needs. Main difference, "Series I" offers a protection from inflation, "Series EE" doesn't. While inflation is high "Series I" might be better, but in stable times "Series EE" might be better.

I bonds and EE bonds resembles in many aspects. But if we consider the past performances, EE bonds are better.

This is a difficult question because it depends on the economy and inflation. EE Bonds provide a certain interest rate, but it stays the same no matter what inflation is. I Bonds are indexed to inflation. While I Bonds may sometimes have no interest, overall they are better.
