I'm discouraged about my adult violin lessons. What advice can you give me?

Just as with anything else, you will not be an expert the first day. Even God took six day to create the heavens and Earth. Give yourself some time.

If you are not happy with the lessons your are currently recieving from your teacher, then the only thing tpo do is seek out another teacher.
