If I want to fly my dog to California what do I need?

Each airline has specific requirements about transporting pets. You must have permission to check your dog through baggage prior to your arrival at the airport.. Check with the airlines are the requirements for the kennel, paperwork, etc.

Each airline is different, but you will need a crate for your dog. Go to the pet store and they will show you a good crate to fly in that can have some food/ water in it too. Good luck, and contact the airline first.

Things you need to fly your dog would be a kennel (about 1/3 larger than the dog), a no stop flight to your directed destination, and lastley to go see your vet before flying to ensure your dog is in peak physical condition. Always remember to reassure your dog that everything will be ok, before they go!
