If I fall and get hurt at a hotel, who is responsible?

It depends on who is negligent. Are there any factors to the fall such as spills, slippery floor, debris, etc? Then the hotel may be responsible. If you fell because you lost your balance, you fainted, or you were not looking then most likely that the hotel is not responsible.

In most cases, they will owe some financial support over the injury. However, if you were reckless or drunk, it is your own responsibility.

It really depends if you were goofing around or if you legitamatly get hurt on your own. If you genuinely get hurt with no fault on your part, then the hotle can be held negligent.

It depends upon the details of how you fell. For example, if you were intoxicated and tripped over your own feet, then it is your fault. If, on the other hand, the hotel knew about a hazard and did nothing about it, and if you did not see it and were sober, then it would be the hotel's fault.
