I was punched in the kidneys. What should I look for?

Check to make sure you don't have and swelling or redness in the area. If it is stiff and hard to touch see a doctor right away.

The big thing to look for is prolonged pain and blood in your urine. You may feel sore for a day or two and you may pee blood for a day or two. However it shouldn't last longer than that.

Kidney is punched because they need a kidney biopsy done as soon as possibe to find out the exact function of your kidney's right now. Biopsy can also determine the possible diseases in the kidneys and how the organ is damaged.
