I have pain on right side rib cage, is it gas or something more?

It depends on how high up the pain is. If its high its probably a lower respirator infection or pleursy (diseases of the lungs). If its mid torso it could be liver pain (hepatitis). In the lower quadrant it probably is gas but if severe it could be appendicitis. The "rib cage" is to vague to answer well.

A pain in the abdominal area could be simple gas (acid reflux). Or it could be something more serious, such as a sprained muscle, or a number of medical conditions requiring treatment. If it does not go away on its own in a few days, see a doctor. Before you go, take notes about your symptoms.

Gas does not cause pain against the rib cage. You may have a cracked, displaced or broken rib. This can also be a sign of lung problems. See a doctor.

Yes, it is due to gas problem on the righst side ribs. If the same trouble is caused, on the L. side , it is something connected to Heart. So, nothing to get worried much!.
