As your boil is underneath your arm is it most likely caused by a clogged hair follicle. Use hot, moist heat multiple times a day to try and relieve the swelling, as well as the infection. See your doctor if it doesn't clear within a few weeks.

This might be caused due to exema or allergy. Use non-fragranced lotion like eucidrine. Drink lots of water. If you have changed soap, shampoo, medication, lotion, soaps ,shampoos, laundry-detergent, perfumes, or deoderant, it might have caused allergy. If you have eaten any new foods also might have caused allergy. So identify and rectify it.

I find the best thing to do is to draw them out using a hot compress for about 20 minutes at a time, several times a day. Once the boil has burst I keep it clean using peroxide, and I apply an antibiotic salve once a day until it heals.
