How do you make boiled peanuts?

Is there a recipe for them? I have bought them many times, but never heard of making them.

Take a saucepan with water and let it boil. Add shelled peanuts to it and cook it for 5 minutes or until the peanuts become soft. Add salt and serve hot.

Boiled peanuts are made from a particular type of peanut, called the green peanut. Wash them to remove dirt. Put them in a brine (salt water) either on the stove on medium heat for 12 hours or in a crockpot on low for 8 hours. Stir & add salt as needed.

Just boil a pound of rinsed fresh, raw peanuts in 4 cups water with 1/4 cup Kosher salt for at least 2-3 hours or until they're soft; drain and eat.

Simply rinse shelled peanuts then soak them in cold water for 40 minutes. Place in a pot and cover with water. Add 1 cup of salt for every gallon of water. Cook on high heat for about 4 hours. Drain and enjoy them hot right away or refridgerate for storage.

Boiled peanuts are simply green (newly harvested) peanuts that are boiled in salty water several hours over a fire outdoors. Green peanuts are only available from May to November. Once they are boiled they only last a day or two before becoming slimy and stinky unless they are refrigerated or frozen.
