Most breast lumps are not cancerous. But there are rare types of cancer that can cause itchiness, redness and pain in the breast. Your best option is to consult your health care provider.

Some skin cancers cause itching. But in your case, a lump can also lead to cancer. So it better to have a Mammogram as soon as possible to confirm it.

It is a wrong presumption that cancer may cause itching. It may also be a fungal infection or a normal infection. Don't disturb your breasts while having sex.

If you have a lump in your breast you should immediately schedule an appointment with your Gynecologist right away. It's important that you do this right away. It's not always breast cancer, sometimes it can be an non cancerous tumor. It's always better to be safe rather than be sorry.

Better to be safe than sorry, you should see a doctor. Depending on how large the lump is, your breast may be stretching and causing the itching. A large lump is nothing to sneeze at and it would be better to get a mammogram or biopsy to see for sure.

Breast cancer usually does not present itself as itchy lumps. However, if you have lumps in your breast you should have them examined by a physician to rule out cancer. The itchiness may be due to a skin disorder and unrelated to the lumps.
