I had a pre-operation chest scan, and it was noted that there is a nodular density costicartilage junction in my right lung. What does that mean?

A nodular density costicartliage junction in your right lung simply means that there a gland that is swollen and it should be checked to make sure it does not contain any cancer.

It basically means that you have to take care of your lung. One of your lungs the right one is more receptive than the other.

A nodular density in the lung means a swollen gland that is in the lung. Something caused the gland to swell, consult your doctor for further details on this. Only they can say for sure.

Lung nodules are very common and often require follow up scan to ensure they are not cancer. Ask your doctor what the plan is with yours.
