What does it mean that my xrays show a "small nodular density in the right lower lung field."

It is overlying the posterior aspect of the 11th rib on the right side.

This just means that the x ray has picked up a small area in your lung which has a different appearance from the surrounding tissue. It is possible that it is a tumour, benign or otherwise, but it is more likely to be something like a bacterial infection, or inflammation.

This could mean anything from an infiltrate (pneumonia), or a neoplasm, or just a simple nipple shadowing. "Small nodular density" is not very specific and needs further follow up with either a repeat chest x-ray or CT of the chest.

What it means is that you need to talk to your doctor. No one here is capable of diagnosing you or creating a care plan. This is why patients should not be given the results of tests they do not understand. Speak to your physician.
