How would you accessorize a blue outfit?

Pearls, whites, blacks, and beige accessories would look nice with blue. Lighter or darker shades of blue would look nice, too. Just make sure that the shade you choose; lighter or darker is the same shade of lightness or darkness you use for all your accessories. Gold or silver jewelry would look great with the entire look.

I would go with a much darker accessory, for example pairing a medium blue outfit with navy blue accessories, unless the outfit was already a very dark blue color. I believe pearls could go well with a blue outfit, provided that the outfit is quite simple and is no over-accessorized.

Personally, I would would similar colors as accessories. If it is a dark blue, then pair it with a lighter blue for the accessories, vice versa if your wearing a light blue. I would probably wear silver jewelry, with blue accent pieces. I believe that pearls would definitely be acceptable.

I would not use pearls, just because I feel they look old fashioned. Depending on the image you were trying to project, you would accessorize with different colors. Pearls, and/or white accessories, would give a conservative, more demure, impression. A more daring, outgoing feeling would be left on people if you used black or contrasting colors.
