Can blue gouramis give birth?

I have blue gouramis in my fish tanks and need to know if there is a possibility of them having babies.

They can't give live birth. But they lay eggs, and those can hatch. If you want to prevent pregnancy, get only one gender for your tank.

Like all fish, blue gouramis lay eggs. If you have a male and a female, the female might lay eggs. The fish will eat the young, however.

Gouramis are bubble nest builders. Usually filtration in an aquarium will keep the water agitated. So if conditions are met for breeding, the current will wreck any nest they make. They are egg layers as well and other fish will probably eat any eggs.

Gouramis are egg layers (ie they don't give birth). A female needs to be spawned out naturally by a male under his bubble nest. You must leave male and female gouramis in a separate tank to mate. It will need a suitable condition to mate and note that it must be a breeding season.
