Much like a full term delivery, gestational diabetes should cease with the termination of a pregnancy. However, keep in mind, those who develope Gestational Diabetes, more likely to develop Type 2 diabetes. You should continue to monitor your blood sugar levels from time to time as recommended by your physician.

Gestational diabetes ends once your child is delivered. So a termination or loss of pregnancy would have the same results. Typically gestational diabetes is not checked for until later in your pregnancy when you would be past the time one could choose an abortion. Consult your doctor for advice.

It will end it. Gestational diabetes is associated with changes in your body during pregnancy. It goes away when the baby is born, so it should go away after abortion.
