How was java deleted out of my computer?

Either you uninstalled it, or else you disabled it in your browser preferences. Another possibility is that the application requires a more recent version of java than you have. Check your browser preferences; if it is enabled, you need to download and install the latest version of java.

Someone could have deliberately gone to "add / remove programs" and removed Java. The application could have been removed during an update of your operating system. It could have been corrupted and removed by a failed Java update.

Java is a programming language developed by Sun Microsystems for their Unix operating system. In order for it to run on a pc or mac you need to have a runtime environment installed on your computer. If java appears deleted it is because something happened to the runtime environment.
