It's fairly simple, you're going to need brick stock and the mortar of course. By using the correct mixture of concrete and water, you can create a strong foundation of what you need. Simple spread it out evenly over the desired area and allow to sit until it dries, this usually take 10 - 12 hours.

the mortar must be mixed with water, directions will be on the bag. lay mortar on the ground then stone then mortar and more stone.

Once you have your base mortar bed down firmly press the first course of field stone in place. Dry fit the second course of stone atop that to check for ascetically pleasing pattern. Apply mortar to first course top and lay the second course pressing firmly.
