Take a electric bulb with holder connected to two wires and keep one end on the coil and other to ground, if bulb glows then coil is working properly.

Assuming you're talking about a coil of wire, and by 'testing' you mean checking if it conducts properly you'll have to use at least a battery to see if it's okay. (Except if you have an enormous magnetic field nearby :)

Static or dynamic electrical testing can be used to test a magneto coil. To test the coil primary resistance, connect one test lead to the magneto.

if we place a coil in the nearby wire where the current is flowing then due to the magnetic field the electric current will also will develop in the coil.
