How should I install a drop in stove?

measure opening in cabinet. apply duct tape if you have to expand space to spots where cuts will be made, use jigsaw if need to cut, attach power cord (they come unattached), connect cord as stove is being lowered, center the stove, check top with level, screw stove in place

If you are installing a gas stove you need to hire a certified gas installation technician to make the connection from the stove to the gas line. Don't take any shortcuts. I also suggest you have someone else help you drop the stove so you don't hurt yourself. add a comment

I've have done it but could never get all the info here in 50 words. The stove should have come with a good instruction manual that will tell ya how to measure your space, install, wire and level. I think you are gonna be better off going that route.
