Check AARP for the best employers for those over 50. AARP is a great organization to join anyway, and a good resource in general. They have a web site and most libraries have their magazine.

Firstly brush up your knowledge and see that you are well versed with the subject that you are qualified in. Secondly try to acquire further qualification which is not outdated but in vogue. Thirdly see that you are trim and presentable

I would really like to know the answer to this one, i am 51 and haave had no luck. The only thing I can tell you is most states have age discrimation laws. But how do you prove it?

If you live in Michigan, the best place to go is Experience Works. They help people 55 and over to gets jobs, even train you in something new. Depending on the business they place you in, you could even get hired by the new employer at no cost to you!
