If the walls are green, the rest of the room will need to be very neutral to keep from enhancing the green. I would suggest cream or beige colors that highlight nearer to gold.
Use colors in furniture and decor such as creams, beige, browns and blacks. These colors blend with green and provide good contrast. Most other colors will clash. A muted egglant or plum can work as an accent color too.
