Late winter is the best time to cut back Asian Jasmine that has become overgrown, shaggy or needs to be neatened up. Be sure your mower is raised to the highest setting and carefully mow over the Jasmine. For raised beds, get a pair of hedge clippers and shear the Jasmine back to approximately four to six inches.
I like trimming by hand because I can use the stems I cut in to help fill out holes in the groundcover. I'm not sure about other zones but in the gulf states we can start more plants by just sticking the stems in a pot with good soil. add a comment
