How should fish be prepared for refrigerator storage?

Unwrap the fish from the original wrapper, wash the fish in cold water, pat it dry, put it on a plate lined with paper towels and wrap tightly in plastic or foil. Place the fish in the coldest part of the refrigerator insuring that there is no leakage from fish and use within 1-3 days.

As soon as the fish is caught, clean them and put them on ice. Then when you get home you wash them good and pack them in water and freeze.
