It is extremely serious. My dad had 3B lung cancer and was treated with radiation, but no chemotherapy. The radiation gave him an additional 14 months to live.
I am so sorry to report but 3B lung cancer is considered advanaced lung cancer. it is not curable but it is treatable. Appears to be 5 year living expectancy.
