What is stage 3 lung cancer like?

Stage three lung cancer means the cancer has spread pretty far and although it's not impossible, at this stage not much can be done. Stage three means there is more shortness of breath and the patient is getting weaker.

Stage 4 is when the Cancer has spread throughout the body invading other areas that help your body function. Its right before Sage 4 which by that point the Cancer has overtaken the body.

Stage three of lung cancer is subdivided as 3A and 3B lung cancer. In 3A, cancer spreads to lymph nodes on same side of tumor which can be removed surgically. In 3B, the cancer spreads to other tissues in the body. This is treated by surgery, chemotherapy and radiation.

Though there are types of stage 3 lung cancer, basically the level is already at a stage where cancer cells has already spread to other organs in the chest part.
