White German Shepherds are not rare. Their popularity varies by area. Some breeders specialize in them. However, the white color has been linked to vision, hearing and other genetic problems. White is generally frowned on as a sign of overdomestication in animals.

White German Shepherds are starting to make a come back in the dog breeding world; however, the dogs generally have a reputation for being aggressive and sometimes dangerous. They make excellent guard dogs, but great thought should be given to having a white german shepherd in a home with children.

They are so rare they are almost unheard of and a breeder can't even gauruntee one because it is almost like a mistake thing when one is born.
