How often should you give a hamster a bath?

Under normal circumstances, you should never need to bathe it. His/her fur has natural oils and removing them would cause harm & possible death. In an emergency - as in if your hamster has a chemical or anything toxic on its fur that could be licked by the animal.

Bathing removes essential oils from hamster's coat so you don't need to give it regular baths. If your hamster get into something very dirty, you can try to wipe it down with plain water. You can use a baby shampoo, but only if necessary and make sure you rinse well.

You should never bathe hamsters. They are clean creatures, and if they are dirty, they will clean themselves. It is important to keep the cage very clean though.

You do not need to bathe a hamster, hamsters clean themselves if they are healthy. One can give them a bath but there is a risk of them catching a cold. If you do choose to bathe your hamster make sure that you dry the animal gently with a towel afterwards, to prevent a cold.

If you keep their cage/bedding clean and change it often enough, they will not need to be bathed. Hamsters can self-clean and bathing them can be risky and dangerous. Try keeping the cage cleaner and see how it goes.

If you keep your hamsters cage cleaned weekly you should really only have to bath your hamster about 2 times a month with a pet soap and sponge bath.

There really is no need to give a hamster a bath. They will groom themselves all the time. However, you can give them a bath once in a rare while. If you give them a bath too often the shampoo and water will dry out their skin. You are better off giving them a dust bath.

I washed my hamster with bubble bath so will she end up diying
