How often is the Magellan RoadMate updated?

The Magellan RoadMate will update anytime you connect it to the computer and download the new maps. Usually they update the maps about once a month or more often if it is necessary. I would recommend updating it at least once every 6 months to keep your maps totally up to date.

Magellan reports that their map data is typically updated once a year when new road map data is supplied from NAVTEQ. They also offer a 30 day map gurantee that if new maps are released within 30 days of your purchase you can get the update for free.

Currently the Magellen RoadMate is updated every six to eight months. This is to add more detail and definitions to other areas.

The maps for the RoadMate 3000t are usually updated once a year. If you find errors or missing roads you can report the errors to the company.

It's essentially updated annually. You will need to download and install their content manager to your computer to keep up with the updates.
