How often do you wash your bed sheets?

Answer by  workingwoman11 (195)

I wash my bedsheets once a week so they are fresh and smell good. Washed more when activity is happening.

I wash them once a week. It is probably okay to wash them less often if you are fairly clean when getting into the bed. If you are dirty or your feet are dirty when you go to bed you may need to change them more often. You should be able to easily tell when they need changing.

Most people would suggest that you change your bed sheets at least once a week, remember to not make your bed for at least 30 minutes after getting up.

Before I feel uncomfortable sleeping in it again. That can be after sweating once and can take a while if I took care to have taken a shower before going to bed every night.

Of course that's up to your own judgment. Normal practice in hotels is to change sheets for every new guest, of course, and change sheets for the same guest every 2 or 3 days. At home a good upper limit is probably a couple of weeks.
