How much should I pay for a piano that was appraised at $1,700?

I am in the appraising field, not for piano's. I recommend around $1050 to $1250. appraisals are normally high for insurance reaasons.

Appraise means to judge the value of something. Since the piano was 'appraised' at $1,700, that mean's it's value is $1,700. You should pay $1,700.

if i was buying it from it from a regular person selling it i would pay 1,300 but if from a store o word pay the whole price

I would offer them $1400 and they will probably take it. This would give you a great deal and they would make good money.
