Well you're looking at a couple hundred if not up in the thousands. The Formica has to be measured, cut, and transported. Not to mention installed and then there are the question of frames before all that. There is a lot of craftsman work that goes into this installation of a new counter top.

Dont pay to have them installed then. Hit home depot or lowes and look at their push together counter tops. They are cheap and easy to install!

Formica is very reasonably priced. I purchased a 8ft counter from Lowe's for $79. Installation should be less than $100 If you are doing two Counters. Thanks

Because formica is a pretty cheap countertop, many DIYers and all general contractors are able to install this countertop relatively inexpensive starting at about $3.00. The more intricate cuts and size of the kitchen will change this shape. Each time a contractor has to make a delicate cut and splice the formica together, it raises the cost.
