My yellow Lab was born on 8/17/2010 and on 11/26/2010 he weighed 35lbs.

Since the weight range of a grown lab covers about 25 pounds, the most important thing is that your pup is growing properly. Take him to the veterinarian.

At the age of 3 months a yellow lab should weigh approx 25-30 pounds. As long as puppy is active and you can't see his ribs then he is fine.

Puppies, particularly larger breeds go through a period where they are growing fast, but not putting on a lot of fat or muscle. He should weigh between-13 lbs.

When you take the puppy to the vet for his first shots, the vet will let you know if your puppy is at a healthy weight. Though, I would say that your puppy should be between 10-20 pounds. I have lab mixes and they weigh close to 50 at 6.

Basically if you can feel a bunch of ribs and his backbone then he is not eating enough food. He is going to grow quickly so he will have a period where he is tall and lanky.

We have 3 males and 1 female yellow labs. They were weighed today. Female is 26, males were 36-38lbs. They were 3 months on Nov 3rd.

I think our labs weighed somewhere between 15-20 lbs when they were 3 months. I think generally, puppies are a lot like human babies in that they're weight isn't going to stick to what the charts say. Look at the puppy's mom and dad - if they were smaller frame, it may be genetic.

about 15-20 is in the optimum weight range for this particular age.
