As long as the bearings haven't worn so much they have damaged other parts, it should cost less than $100 or so.

Well it really depends on you car and how it is getting rep[aired. Wheel bearings themselves are typically cheap but if you have them professionally replaced the labor can be incredible pricey. Replacing them yourself is possible but it may require special tools and knowledge. However if you do some research or buy a repair manual you should be fine.

Difficulty, and cost, of replacing wheel bearings depends on type and age of vehicle. Some can be pressed in, while others need to be heated to expand, and access can be more difficult on some. It's important to get THREE estimates from different shops, over the phone before settling on one. Estimates should be free. Good luck to you.
