it all depends on what type of car, location/city. and worst of all their parents driving record. If they live in a high traffic area insurance rate will be higher than say boon docks kansas. sports car with 2 doors and a fast engine will raise the cost the most.

Car insurance for teenagers and younger people in general are going to be very costly. The cost of the insurance policy depends on how new the car is and how much it costs. Some insurance companies will give a discount for good grades.
