You should start out with a small pinch of goldfish flakes. Goldfish will eat themselves to death if you allow it. A goldfish should be able to consume the amount of food given within 2-3 minutes. If not, you put in too much.

You shouldn't feed goldfish more than they will eat in a few minutes. They eat quickly, and once they're done, uneaten food can foul your tank or aquarium.

In a day i feed it minimum two or three times. And aslso Change the water ones ina day. But i will not give over food to my gold fish. Tnis way ifeed my gold fish.
