Well that all depends on how desperately the person or people involved really want a child. There have been instances where people have paid more than $50,000 for a baby on the black market.

People will pay up to $10's of thousands of dollars or more so they can have a baby. This type of market is very illegal and very wrong. It keeps the child from knowing its birth parents. A lot of times they actually make a birth certificate, placing the adoptive parents names on it instead of the birth parents names.

I agree, it is repulsive. I don't know if it really happens, but if it does, I'd assume the babies are worth tens thousands of dollars. But those people almost always end up in jail.

It depends on what country you live in and what you want the babies for. I have heard of US couples paying over 30k to adopt a baby
