The minimum amount of compression in each cylinder should be 110 pounds, and up to 180 pounds. The cylinders should be within 15 pounds of each other.

I just did a compression test on my 2002 Pontiac Sunfire with a 2.2L engine and the pressure readings were 150 for all the cylinders but one. I found that one was reading @ 100psi and then @ 90 psi. Blown head gasket. Hope this helps.

This will depend on the year but usually the four cylinder has 2,189 cc 2.2 liters transverse engine with 89 mm bore, 88 mm stroke, and a 9 compression ratio.

The cylinder compression from a Pontiac Sunfire with the 2.2 liter Ecotec engine would be 10:0:1 for each cylinder. The engine was made for many different General Motors vehicles and is found in the Pontiac Sunfire from the years of 2002 to 2005. It generates 143 horsepower and also has a high miles per gallon rating.

Well not knowing the exact year it is hard to say. Just compare all the cylinders to each others. It should be roughly the same psi.

This is a fairly broad question becomes there are many different models of your type of car. I would either consult a mechanic personally, or refer to your user manual.

The minimum amount in each cylinder should be 110 pounds up to 180 pounds. 15 pounds of each other. It should range between two and three hundred RPM's and depends on travel.
