Ok lets start by checking if the car has fuel. Next check if fuel if being delivered to the pipes just after the fuel filter. If they are empty you have a air lock or blockage. Next check the pipes just after the fuel pump, loosen and turn the engine over, fuel should leak out. If not its your pump.

This could be mulitiple problems. Ruling out mulitiple problem will help you locate the part that is causing it. start with the fuel and test each part. If it looks broken, warp, or leaking fix it. Electrical can be tricky. omhs meter and diagrams can sometimes help in this case.

See if you are getting gas to the carburetor from the fuel line. If you are, then check the line between the fuel pump and the carburetor.

Well the first thing to check is that there is enough gas and that fuel pump works. It should hum when the key is switched to run. Then check to make sure that is has enough line pressure when the pump is on.
