How might we reconcile after a divorce?

Answer by  Wallybingus (176)

You can always just kiss and make up -- having discovered that life after divorce is more challenging than either of you expected. That will most likely end in a second divorce, though, so please identify what caused the divorce in the first place, and resolve those issues.

If you found life is not greener the other side the fence then a reconciliation is possible if both parties are miserable on your own. There is chance for you both and would probably be a successful reconciliation.

It is possible only if both parties desire a reconciliation. Start slowly - don't rush anything. Start by going on dates and talking about issues and topics which are not controversial.

A good way might be to sit down and create a list of things that first attracted you to your partner. Ask your ex to do the same. Then ask to meet in a neutral place to discuss the lists and the possibility of being civil to ech other!
