How many watts?
Answer by suzkie (6)
A 15-amp circuit breaker is expected to support 1800 volts this is calculated by multiplying the volts times amps (120 x 15 = 1800.) but the circuit is can only handle 80% of the total volt. so that is 1800 x 80/100 = 1440 Volts
Answer by q (24)
120 volts, and 1440 watts. You can find the number of watts by multiplying the amps by the volts and multiplying the total by .8.
