How do I replace a 15 amp circuit breaker?

Answer by  yeswanth (235)

shut all the branch circuit, disconnect all the wires, then pull damaged breaker and fix new breaker. Reconnect all the wires and check breaker connections.

First, make sure power is off to the circuit breaker. Circuit breakers pop into place on "hot" bar. Pop the breaker out of place and loosen the screw at the bottom to remove the white wire. Do the exact opposite with the new breaker. First secure the white wire in place then carefully pop the breaker into place.
