Circuit breakers are often brand dependent. For example, GE circuit breakers will not fit a Federal panel and vice versa. Next to consider is amperage. Most are 15-20 Amps.
Circuit breaker differs in the load/current that they could carry. Some circuit breaker are suitable for small appliances and some are for heavy loads.
