For an infant baby, the best thing to try to do is to feed your baby until it is full and every single time they are hungry, but generally between 17-32 ounces for 0-4 months. If he or she doesn't want to take the bottle, something else could be wrong such as gas, sleepy or just being uncomfortable.

It depends more on your baby's weight than on his/her age. Take his or her weight in pounds, and multiply it by 2. 5. The resulting number is the number of ounces your child should eat per day.

For babies up to six months of age, a general guideline is two to two-and-a-half ounces of formula per pound of body weight, per day. For example, if your baby weighs ten pounds, he or she will average about 20-25 ounces per day, some days a little less, some days more.

About four ounces at a time. This can be Milk, fruit juice or boiled water. A child will take three or more times so much,so it is more than 12 ounces
