Our body requires moderate amounts of seven different minerals. The human body is made up of such minerals as, calcium, phosphorus, potassium, sulfur, sodium, chlorine, and magnesium. There are trace amounts of close to a dozen more.

A total of 19 minerals can be found in at least trace amounts in the human body. These include Boron, Calcium, Chromium, Cobalt, Copper, Flourine, Iodine, Iron, Magnesium, Manganese, Molybdenum, Nickel, Phosphorous, Potassium, Selenium, Silicon, Sulfur, Vanadium and Zinc.
