According to what I have been reading there are about 660,000 U. S. gallons of water in an Olynpic sized swimming pool.

Olympic pools hold about 600,000 gallons of water. To get the exact volume in gallons, multiply your pool's length in feet X width in feet X average depth in feet X 7. 5. Most pools have a shallow end and a deep end so average depth will vary with pool construction.
